LAUTECH has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry form for the 2025/2026 session. Candidates must register online by 20 August and meet cut-off marks that vary by course. All details on eligibility, fees and deadlines are below.
If you picked LAUTECH as your first choice or you’re planning to, the school has now opened its 2025/2026 admission portal. You’ve got until Wednesday, 20 August 2025 to sort out your application. No begging for extension after that. Just follow the process and make sure you meet the score cut-off for your course.
Let’s walk through what you really need to know.
Who Can Apply?
First, you must:
- Choose LAUTECH as your first choice
- Score at least 170 in UTME (some courses need higher, check below)
- Be 16 years or older by 30 September 2025
- Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS before the deadline
If you’re applying through Direct Entry (DE), you’ll need:
- At least a Lower Credit or Merit in ND, NCE, HND, JUPEB or a university degree
- Five relevant O’Level credits
- For Medicine, Nursing or Med Lab Science, the credits must be in one sitting

How To Apply
- Go to the LAUTECH admission portal
- Pay ₦5,000 total (₦2,000 for form, ₦3,000 portal access) using your ATM card
- Fill the form carefully
- Upload a passport photo (white background, JPEG, under 20KB)
- Submit and double-check your email for confirmation

Direct Entry Applicants
You must:
- Buy a DE form from JAMB
- Forward your academic transcript to:

Deadline: one week before screening - Show up for oral and written interviews on 25 and 26 August 2025 at the campus hall
- Miss it? No admission.
Extra Warnings
- Upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before 20 August
- Any funny business like age or name mix-ups could cost you the admission
- LAUTECH gives 80% weight to UTME score, 20% to O’Level grades
- Accept your offer on JAMB CAPS within 3 weeks, or they’ll cancel it
