For comparison, the Benue State Governor earns more than the President of Nigeria in the RMAFC package structure (the President earns ₦14,058,000/year), and approximately 55% more than a Nigerian Senator (₦13,523,120/year). The CBN Governor, whose salary is not set by RMAFC, earns approximately ₦34,440,000/year — significantly more than any state governor.
